Deutschland stuft Südafrika ab Sonntag nicht mehr als Virusvariantengebiet ein. Die auch in Deutschland vorherrschende Delta-Variante habe die Beta-Variante dort mittlerweile weitgehend verdrängt, sagt eine Sprecherin des Bundesgesundheitsministeriums zu Begründung. Mit der Herabstufung entfallen etwa das Beförderungsverbot und harte Quarantäneauflagen. Südafrika wird nun als Hochrisiko- oder Hochinzidenzgebiet eingestuft. "Wer nicht geimpft oder genesen ist, muss nur noch für zehn Tage in Quarantäne, kann sie aber durch einen Test auf fünf Tage verkürzen."...
